One of the best new CDs we heard was Sam Sparro's. As he was playing just down the road, we thought we'd go visit. It was the first proper standing up gig i've been to in years, but was pretty enjoyable, though seemed very short, i guess because he's only had one album.
There were a lot of young trendy kids there of course, don't know if i need to go get a stripey tshirt, tight black cardigan, tight jeans, pointy shoes and a check scarf...
